DIEM: Dubrovnik International Economic Meeting is a scientific journal published by the University of Dubrovnik, bringing together selected research papers presented at the DIEM Conference. The journal publishes high-quality scientific and professional papers that contribute to theoretical, methodological, and empirical research in the broad field of economics. All papers are subject to a «double-blind» review process, detailed in the Information for Authors. Its mission is to promote and share new knowledge within the national and international academic and professional community. DIEM is co-financed by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia. DIEM is published once a year.

DIEM covers a wide range of topics in economics and related disciplines, with a special emphasis on:

  • Finance and Banking – including accounting, markets, regulation, and risk management
  • Management and Leadership – strategic, corporate, and project management, organizational change, and innovation
  • Entrepreneurship and Business Development – SMEs, competitiveness, and sustainable business models
  • Macroeconomics and Policy – economic growth, public finance, taxation, and monetary policy
  • Education, Labour, and Society – human resources, social entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning
  • Technology and Digital Economy – IT management, e-business, and e-government
  • Sustainability and the Environment – green economy, environmental economics, and corporate responsibility
  • Regional and International Aspects – EU integration, trade, and tourism

Publishing fee:

Journal does not charge any fee for publishing, reading or downloading papers.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal.
